This Cherry Veneer MDF Box Urn opens at the base and closes with four screws. 

This urn is not engravable.  We recommend engraving brass plates, sold separately.

MDF:  Medium-density fiberboard is an engineered wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibers.  Combining those fibers with wax and a resin binder, forming panels by applying high temperature and pressure.  MDF is generally denser than plywood and is stronger and denser than particle board.
